The Рутокен Web capabilities are designed to prevent theft of the hardware device itself, as well as forgery or substitution of electronic signatures through the use of trojans, phishing, or traffic interception. This cross-platform and multi-browser solution is cost-effective and user-friendly.
The product consists of three components: a USB token, a browser plugin, and a server-side implementation for signature verification. The USB token acts as an electronic key and performs electronic signatures without the need for driver installation. The browser plugin facilitates communication between the USB token and the browser, requiring no administrative privileges for installation. It utilizes browser APIs and does not require additional components or platforms such as Java or Microsoft Silverlight. The server-side component supports various platforms and development tools, including PHP, ASP.NET, WordPress, Joomla, and Bitrix.
In the event of a lost token, users can access the website once without the USB token by using a one-time access code printed on a scratch card included in the Рутокен Web package. This access recovery mechanism ensures the uninterrupted use of web resources.
